So we are treading uncharted waters here in the new age of digital filmmaking. Indie films which were once only available to view at festivals and in very select cities can now come to cities like Fresno, via VOD and the internet. Now, better than ever, filmmakers have new and exciting means to connecting to their audience. "Community" transcends physical location. I'm optimistic. Of all things that should not be exploited, creativity is the exception.

Good article. They failed to mention the little "hiccup" with NYC's amazing incentive program: there's none of it left! I believe it was all used up within a short 2 years and mostly by TV shows filmed here. Now the TV shows can't afford to shoot he…
Hi vanessa thanks for replying to my discussion, its great to have a talented person from fresno. Well I really don't have a script put together just the story, I have dialogue but just not that experienced in how to put it together.
Hope you can bring your talents back to Fresno. It's also nice to have a contact in NY too! Maybe with the 'new-media' you've referred to, bi-coastal projects via the internet will become a reality! Good luck here and with all of your future projects...
