Hi Christine. I realized when I got home I didn't have your email addy, so I got this email from Cindy: query@EntandemProd.com. I'll try the other email right now. Thanks!
I definitely want to be there. Just a heads up friday and saturday sept 11 and 12 we are having a showcase at Autry's workshop, usually 6pm to 9pm let me know if you want to come. perfect timing, i was just getting ready to email you. i have been sick on and off for 2 months and now it is on again. I can't seem to shake this flu/cold so i am going to be good and stay home and maybe i willl finally kick this thing. i hate to miss the mixer, i was really looking forward to it. Sorry! let's get together next week.
I have to be to work at 1 on Wed but can meet sometime before that. I am planning on going to the mixer at the Elbow Room, we could chat there if that works better for you
Hi Christine
I have had some actual reasons for not having my headshot up yet, but now i have a new computer so only excuses now. I will put it up today. All of Mike's pics are great!!! and yes i definetly want to chat and work together. I hope you are rested up. Do you have sometime next week to get together?
Kudos on your position with 'Finding Hope Now'! I also find that films with socially relevant themes add more dimensions -- they're richer, deeper and go beyond mere entertainment. I've always enjoyed 'The Knife and the Switchblade -- book and movie.
I'm working on a script about domestic violence at the moment. Our latest SHG production 'Death Rattle - Crystal Ice,' is an anti-meth movie made for PG audiences. Shot with a mostly Christian crew there's little if any blood and cussing -- we wanted families to see this -- about the nemesis of meth and how a small town's band of citizens surmount the threat. Although you can't tell by the marketing -- one distributor wanted us to make it racy, bloody and sexy! - We declined.
The 'Vanilla's-Descent' movie is loosley based on 'Paradise Lost' by the late 17th century Christian Poet John Milton -- about humanty's tragic exhile from the Garden of Eden.
A couple of months ago or so, Carolyn DeVore discussed the 'Hope' project with me and working on it -- both behind the camera and/or in front of it -- I also talked to Skin a few weeks back. I've suppied them with current resumes and head-shots and sent e-mail copies to Entandem Pro.
If we can collaborate now or on future projects, I'm always looking forward.
